Resource List for Donations
The following is a listing of area groups who receive donations. If you have items to give, you may do so directly to the group or you may bring your donations to any AAQG meeting to add to donations from others and they will be taken to the group. Please attach a paper label telling us which group you want your quilt or other items to go to, if you have a preference, when you bring them to a meeting.

Fidget Quilts--small lap quilts with activities on them; each quilt is approximately 18"X24" and includes such items as buttons, Velcro, zippers, pockets, and elastic. On-line fidget quilt instructions: Children/Teen Quilts--30" sq. for small children, larger ones for preteen and teenagers up to twin size. Lap Quilts (36" X 36" or 36" X 48") Mary Greeley uses fidget quilts to help calm dementia patients; quilts are given to children and young teens who come to Pediatrics for illness or surgery; lap and twin quilts are given to Home Hospice patients and oncology patients. |

Quilts of Valor |
Cotton quilting fabric--with a patriotic design or red, white, blue or other colored fabrics that would work into a Quilt of Valor (i.e. gold, cream, ecru); also can donate yardage/strips of fabric, at least 2.5" wide; AVOID LARGE FLORAL PRINTS.
